Following puberty there are quantifiable measurements in male anatomy and physiology that reveal greater body height and bone stature,  Lower percent body fat measurements. Larger lungs and airways with increases in total respiratory volume.  Larger heart size, blood volume, hemoglobin concentration, and greater ventricular volume to muscles and organs. A measurable increase in skeletal muscle mass due to larger muscle fibers which equates to a 10 to 30 percent increase in muscle power depending on the sport.
